Run time error '424'

I receive a run time error 424 when i start my computer
every time and I have done all of the updates and checked
through the system troubleshooter in depth. what can I do
to eliminate this???

Any help would be appreciated

Look at the TV commercial being televised nationally right now for Dell
computer....that'll give you some ideas!

Seriously, was any programs added or removed from the computer before this
error message started?
