run time error 424

What application are you running when you see this message?
A simple Google search for "run time error '424' " should steer you in the
right direction. Otherwise, please provide us with a context/scenario for
this error message.
 
Not to sound like a smart@ss, but actually, a Google search for that
particular error message will steer you in the direction of scripting
or coding problems which are virtually indecipherable by the common
home user.

I know...I've been looking for a comprehensible answer to this problem
myself.

For the record, it happens randomly, (most frequently at system boot)
and the DUN window pops up, even if I'm already connected.

If anyone has a reply that doesn't have to do with scripting, coding,
or debugging, I would appreciate it.
