I'd like to run a short script to display info to the user at logoff. Is
there the logoff-equivalent of a "startup" directory, so that a script
or app can be run at log out (before it actually logs off)?

There's no such folder in the start menu, but you can configure logon and
logoff scripts in the Group Policy Editor (Start--> Run --> gpedit.msc.)
Available only in Windows 2000 and XP Professional.... can be done on each
machine or as part of a domain policy if you run Active Directory.

Thank you much! Although we're not on AD (yet), having it available
through the policy editor will do the trick (we're on XP Pro). Thanks again!
