run Excel in kiosk mode?

We need to run only one application in "kiosk mode" so that we can deny all
other access to the computer. How can we simply configure Windows 2000 to
do this? We are not very proficient with registry editing.

Not sure what version of Excel you're using, but I think it's
generally the same idea for Excel 2K and above:

Actually, what we are trying to do is have a single public workstation
which runs Excel and only Excel. We want the program to be the only program
open and for the users to not be able to quit Excel or switch to other
programs or to configure Windows.

You are looking to basically set local Group Policy for the PC.
