run button on video downloads

When downloading a file via the internet, i do not have the option to "run"
or (open) the file anymore. my only option is to save it to disk. anyone
know how to get it back. i have all ready checked all the security settings
i could find. is there something im missing?

I would try restoring a restore point in System Restore that pre-dates the
problem, but first perform virus and spyware scans with updated scanners
because you may have run a file containing a virus, etc.

It is not a good idea to run files unless you know exactly what type they
are and what their contents are likely to be.
