I have 2 computers running outlook 2000. I imported the *.pst onto my
laptop for mobility. After doing so, the rules that were applied on my
home system do not all work correctly. some e-mail automatically goes
to the designated folder, some doesn't? The rules seem to be working
fine on the laptop. question is as follows:

can i import just the rules back onto my home system without all the
mail, contacts, etc.?

are there any know bugs, virus, etc. about this?

I've searched everywhere, have found a few KB articles but nothing
describing this issue.

TIA

Ingit,

to backup (Export) only your rules, have a look on this site:
http://www.slipstick.com/rules/backup.htm

Maybe your rules need an additional function: "after this rule dont use any
other rule". (Sorry but i don´t know the correct text in english). It is
also a function in the Rules Assistent. Select this in every rule.

I would also check all rules and would update again the selected folders for
all rules.
