Hi

I want to set up a rule similar to the Outlook Exprees options of

Where the To contains people
Do not download a message

I can't find any options to stop the downloading of a message.

Any ideas?

IF I'm not mistaken, rules in Outlook 2002 only operate AFTER mail is
downloaded from the server.

You can sent any messages that from unwanted senders to be
sent to the deleted folder or permanently deleted.

Thanks - I think you could be right.

Thanks but that is not the point . I want to leave the message on the
server for another user to collect and when he downloads he will leave my
messages for me to collect.

David,

I'm trying to do the same thing, after upgrading from
Outlook Express to Outlook 2002 I can find no way to stop
downloading specific messages or "delete from server"
(which are the most useful rules for me in OE)

This means it's not possible to use the 'unlimited' mail
boxes on a single POP account function, also you need to
download spam before it can be deleted, a real pain when
your using a dial up connection!

Looks like I'll need to go back to OE, shame on you MS!
