Rules Wizard - Help on permanently deleting msgs

I have set up a rule to permanently delete messages from sender "X"; however,
Outlook 2003 is forcing "...permanently delete it and stop processing more
rules" when I select "permanently delete it". Why is Outlook automatically
checking "Stop processsing more rules" when "permanently delete it" is
checked. If I select "delete it", Outlook doesn't force "Stop processsing
more rules" to check; it's only if I select "permanently delete it". I can
not uncheck "Stop processing more rules" unless I select "delete it", which
is what I don't want. I want "PERMANENTLY delete it".

Why is outlook doing this???
 
Because it makes sense. How can Outlook process more rules when the message
already has been permanently deleted?

Actually, it does NOT make sense. I have 14 rules created...why should it
stop processing rules just because it deletes an email? I have OTHER email
coming in and I don't want the rules to stop processing. If it made sense, I
wouldn't have posted my question.

Stop processing more rules is set for that message, not for al
messages. So, yes it does make sense. It will still check mor
incoming mail against other rules you have set
 
It still makes sense; it stops processing rules for that specific item. New
items that come in are still checked against the rules.
