Is it possible to make a rule so that when I receive a certain email, it
launches a certain web page/address. I use Outlook 2002, and I sync it with my
AOL software....the calendar and address book. I am trying to make a rule so
that when I am at work, I can send an email to myself, and get Outlook to
launch the command to sync the two programs.

AOL has the sync software, and I can get Outlook to load it, but the program
doesn't run by itself, I must click Sync. However, I do have a web address
that will make my AOL software launch and sync automatically.

So I need a rule that when I send an email to myself, with "sync" as the
subject, it will launch Internet Explorer or something with this address
"aol://4344:1227.isyncs.9374516.741622419/"

Any suggestions?? :)

Thanks

Sorry....I answered my own question. I made a new shortcut on my desktop for
internet explorer, and put that address in the command line. And then told
Outlook to open that shortcut as a program when the email arrives. And it
works....

Anyone have any better ideas?

:)
