Cathy C

Outlook 2002 SP-2 Corporate Workgroup Edition, Windows 2K SP4. When trying
to set up a rule to move emails from a particular person to a particular
folder I receive the following message: This rule could not be created.
Check your folder permissions. This is a peer-to-peer network with no
server. The user has administrator rights. I've downloaded the latest MS
Office updates. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Cathy

Hi Cathy,

Try it again after you cleared your Deleted Items folder and post back your
findings.

Do you have more rules configured? There is a 32KB limit on the total size
of rules you can have.

Yes, there are more rules configured. What file can I check for size on
existing rules? Thanks.
