Ruler units and grid dots (HELP)

I'm having problems changing the ruler units, I want to change them from cm
to inches, and I want to have grid dots in my report design view so that I
can place things more accurately. Please help me find out how to do this.

Go to the Control Panel and find Regional Settings. Change the Measurement
from Metric to U.S.

In addition to Doug's comment about your regional settings, you should note
that the finest grid setting on the property sheet that can be seen is 24 x
24. You can snap to finer settings, just not see them.
