Hi guys - i am looking to set up a rule n outlook 2003 which will send
notification of new mail to a specified e-mail address, but importantly
i cannot forward the original message - it's an office setup and we're
not allowed to fwd 'confidential' messages over the web. Also i cannot
install any 'tool' as i have seen on the web - are there any other
options???

help please

There isn't any rule for it but a 3rd party app like
(http://www.sperrysoftware.com/Outlook/Watch-Outlook-Folders.asp) might
work.

Great tool, but, alas, the OP said:

Perhaps this means his company policy won't allow it.

Ah, I missed that in his post. In that case I think he's out of luck.

Actually, I suppose if the guy has any VB skills he could write his own
tool to do it via code. Not sure if he's that ambitious though.
