When I start up my comp. this msg shows. "The system DLL user32.dll was
relocated in memory". "The application will not run properly", it says. Does
anyone know what´s happened and what to do? The pc seems to work fine
otherwise!

Since Patch Tuesday this has caused quite a few grief!

I have the same problem, i guess all users performing the "strongly
recommended MS updates" have this problem now. What is more ridiculous is
that if you request chat help from MS they want you to pay $49 in advance. I
bet they have made thousands of $ off this software error...........
This reminds me a year ago I downloaded the SP2 update on my laptop and was
so messed up that I ended up having to re-install XP (wtihout SP2)

thanks for the info. Hopefully MS will come out with a fix soon, since they
caused the problem in the first place. From what I can tell, my computer is
still working fine. I only get the message when I first turn it on. Thanks
again

The fix has been out for a couple of days. The info has been posted
numerous times in this and other WinXP newsgroups.

The problem is related to a recent windows update and invloves the realtek
HD audio control panel. Click on the link below for further details.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/

In the 'resolution' section you will see a link to download the fix for this
problem, download it and the click (or double click) on the file to install
it. Once you reboot the rpoblem should go away.
