In my XP embedded image, in event viewer I get RSVP event ID 12004:
Error (the system cannot find the file specified) while reading the
FirstCounter value under RSVP performance key
(HKLM\\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RSVP\Performance) in
registry.
I have the key HKLM\\...\Performance, but I don't have the
"FirstCounter" value under it. In my XP pro I do have it. I'm guessing
I am missing some component. What could it be? (I included "Quality of
Service RSVP). Could it be Dial-Up Server (which consumes about 40MB
due to dependencies)? When doing dependency check, target designer
says it's necessary for "Active Directory Service Interface" which is
used by "Administration Support tools" (control panel applet for
computer management), but I didn't include the Dial-Up Server.
Computer mamagement works ok. But could it be necessary for the RSVP?
