In WINDOWS HOME edition.
Being on the internet I get the message that the system will close down in 60 seconds by the NT-authority\system due to Remote Procedure Call, RPC. And it does, what can I do?

Searching the group for your topic can save time. "RPC" and "remote"
bring up dozens of hits. Here's one...

It means you most likely caught Blaster on the unprotected computer.
Follow this to get rid of Blaster:

When you get the shutdown message...

Go to; Start --> Run
enter; shutdown -a

It should keep you online long enough to download the proper tools to remove
the worm and updates that you need.
