I have a problem, a have a modem Conexant PCI HCF 56K and
when I connect to Internet, after a few minutes I get a
message than RPC was shut down and the whole system must
be restarted, can somebody help?

It would help if you would learn update windows and learn use virus
killer and such.

It's most likely VIRUS. Blaster worm or some other that use same
vounerability... Get yourself a viruskiller and maybe firewall and keep your
windows UPDATED.
