Hi,

I had this problem also and did the following to
completely remove the virus:
1. Symantec have a FIX here
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32
..blaster.worm.html
Follow the instructions and delete the files.
Remember to Disable System Restore (Windows XP) and only
do EXACTLY as suggested in the registry editing - no more.

2. Microsoft have 2 patches 64 and 32 bit available here

url=/technet/security/bulletin/MS03-026.asp
Run the .exe file and Eureka! FIXED.

It is only 168kb and should download quickly. Follow the
instructions
