RPC remote procedure call - system shutdown

I've been getting these error message " NT authority
system...RPC...remote procedure call...system will shut
down/.." very frequently today
what should i do?

happened to me today, 5 different times,please
 
I have been having the same problems today. Can't log on
for more than 1 minute, get the exact same error, "Remote
Procedure Call (RPC) Terminated unexpectedly. Source of
call is NT Authority/SYSTEM. I would like to download the
latest patch, but can't stay on long enough to do it!..

Please help!

You are infected with the msblast.exe worm.

Every windows box where I work is now infected with this worm. The XP
boxes just reboot over and over again. The NT and 2K boxes get an
error message, usually a bad memory access in svchost.exe. NT and 2k
boxes will boot, but some are slow or hang. If the box has msblast.exe
in the process table it is infected.

Symantec is the only anti-virus company I know of that has a procedure
for removing the virus - as of about 3 hours ago. Perhaps the others
have caught up by now.
