MS Instructions say to configure the client by going to Tools|Accounts|More
Settings and Connection Tab.
Then they say to look in the "Exchange over the Internet" pane.
What pane? I don' t have it in O2k or O2003 versions.
Does something else need to be installed on the client?

In Outlook 2003 - Tools | E-Mail Accounts | Next | Select Microsoft Exchange
Server | Change | More Settings | Connection... what do you see on this tab?

RPC over HTTP applies to following client side configuration...

1) User must be running Windows XP (SP1) with patch KB 331320 or later
2) User must be running Outlook 2003
3) If the above is met, then you will find the Exchange proxy settings
button under the connection tab.

Thanks.

The KB 331320 actually adds the "Exchange Over the Internet" section to the
Connections tab.
It wasn't on the "list" of updates needed at
office.microsoft.com/officeupdate.
