Hi,
When I go to setup Outlook 2003 to do RPC over HTTP to an Exchange 2003
server (running on Windows 2003 Server), I get to the part where I am
supposed to check "Connect to my Exchange mailbox using HTTP" under the
"Connections" tab, but no such option exists!

I've scoured the web but can't find any resources that tell me why I am
missing this option.

If someone could help me determine why this option isn't displayed, it'd be
greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
dave

I'm having the same problem. There is not Exchange Proxy
Setting in the Connection tab.

We are having the same problem and yes we did install the patch.

Kind regards,
Kristan

Due to the Swen virus, all e-mails sent to this account will be deleted
w/out reading.

PS - Windows XP (SP1) + this patch is the only client operating system that
supports an RPC over HTTPS connection to Exchange 2003.

Finally got an answer. I got so frustrated with this that I contacted
Microsoft. They knew exactly what I was talking about and sent me an
exe to enable to RPC/HTTP UI in Outlook 2003.

We had been using Office 2003 Beta on a good number of machines and
for some reason when we upgraded to the RTM version of Office 2003
Professional, the RPC/HTTP UI was not included in Outlook 2003. If we
did a straight upgraded from Office XP to Office 2003 the UI was
available.

I hope this helps...
