RPC in XP

Each time I boot my xp pc it goes fine until I log on,
then after the desktop loads, I get a message sayin the
the system authority is shuttting the system down and that
I should close all apps down. Another screen comes up and
say that the RPC server is not available. Any one knows
what to do. I have ran the STNGER virus detector and it
did not find anything.

It appears your computer has been infected with the Blaster virus. You may
want to try another tool other than Stinger. For more information and how to
