RPC error and system gets restarted by itself

Hi,
Whenever i connect to Internet using my dialup
connection, after 10-15 min i am getting Remote Procedure
call error and system is getting restarted by itself..
can anyone please tell how to overcome this... i got Win
XP professional..

I have the same problem, but when trying to download the fixes from microsoft nothing happens. I can't run the blaster clean up without a patch from microsoft - any thoughts?

Your computer is now infected with the W32.Blaster.Worm or
one of its variants. This happened because you have not
been using an internet connection firewall and have
apparently neglected to install the critical updates
available at the Windows Update website.

If your computer is constantly attempting to shutdown
or reboot, quickly go to:

Start > Run and type: CMD , and hit enter.
This opens the Command Prompt window.

Then type: shutdown -a , and hit enter.

This should halt the rebooting problem.
