Row and Column Indices

Hi Group,

I am wondering how to change the text height of the Row and Column indices
that appear along the left and top of a worksheet.

Whatever Standard Font (name and size) you selection under Tools, Options,
General is used for the worksheet borders (after a restart) for new
workbooks.
 
I see. It seems a little quirky that I can't open any workbook (not just a
new one) and just change those attributes.

You jogged my memory. It's actually the font used in the definition of the
Normal style (Format, Styles). It happens that the font named in the
General options is used to set the Normal style.

So changing Normal changes the borders font for that workbook.
