hi all.

Ok, this is the issue.
got a D-link router 614+, and to this router I have two computers (Both on
WinXP PRO SP2) connected via LAN cable and a laptop running WinXP Home SP2
using wireless connection.
All of the computers can access internet through the router, and all
computers can ping each others.

This is the problem. The LAN is not stable. Tyring to share the three
computers with eachothers.

When I try to connect I get most of the time (after maybe 45seconds) "The
workgroup is not available. You might not have permission to use the network
resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions..Access denied. The list of servers in thisworkgroup is
not availabel" (Im of course admin on all computers)

One strange thing is that the laptop on wireless can see and access the LAN
cabled computers..

Have tryie all of windos buildin wizards and helps.

Any one have any idea??

I had a similar problem and found it was because I had not enabled networking
in my Norton Internet Security (in Norton you got to configure personal
firewall, networking tab then I just used the wizard).

Hope this helps

Didnt work. When I press "Show computers in workgroup" the computer takes a
few seconds before the message appears "The workgroup is not available..."
And this happends even in the computer that doesnt have any virus or
firewall.
All windows firewalls is also turned off.

There are other possibilities for your problem. If nothing in this article
helps, post "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer. Read this
article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely:
