I store my pictures on a file share (not local on my PC). When I try to
rotate an image via Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, I get the following error
message:
"Because this image is read-only, the rotated version cannot be saved using
the same file name. To save it, click Copy To and give it a new file name."
The file is not read-only, however in Windows Explorer the folder appears to
be read-only (apparently that is a feature of Windows Explorer)...when i use
the attrib command, the read-only bit is not set (see KB326549).
I also notice if i try to right click the picture and select Rotate
Clockwise, I get an error "You cannot rotate this image. The files might be
in use or open in another program, or the file or folder might be read-only."
I am mapping this drive with an account that now has full control.
Any Ideas
