Roll back QFE

Is there a way we can rol back the QFEs. Looks like the
new QFEs messed up my configuration and my builds wont
start. It just errors out with CMI error.

SP,

Open CDM (Component Database Manager) in the exclusive mode, go to Package tab and remove the QFE packages you don't need.
 
And then re-add affected components in TD, or remove them from SLX file by using text editor.

Yup, this also needs to be done if you happen to use new (Hotfix) QFE components in your SLX projects.

Frankly, I don't know about the CMI error you are seeing. If you mentioned the exact error, that might help.
I have installed some (not all) QFEs and haven't see any errors because of the QFEs.
Also, if possible, try to narrow down the QFE that caused the problem for you. It may help us and MS to understand the issue (I know
it may be a lot of work for you but have nothing else to suggest).

You have to save the SLX as XML (check out TD Save As dialog). then you will be able to edit it as a text file.

I have another issue..actually the previous post was with regards to that..but I saw no replies..anyway..I am getting a CMI error

after installing a bunch on new updates from MS. I dont know why..
also it has corrupted one of my important builds..you mentioned about updating the slx file using text editor..I was unable to
