I'd suggest that's a pretty strong reaction for a mild correction, the advise
given was needed and mildly given, don't wear your heart on your sleeve.

you need to post details for help, and if you don't, someone will tell you
to post them.

Do you want help or not? I was trying to give you some tips for how to
optimize your chances of getting it. The choice is up to you. Good luck.

It might give someone an idea of how to help if you say what
happens when defrag is run. Any error messages? What changes have
been made to the system between when it worked and now? What
troubleshooting have you tried? Review this link on making a good
newsgroup post, resubmit with more information, and maybe someone
will be able to help you.

From what I see - Rock asked for clarification... Unless Rock happens to
live in the same room as you and/or you know for a fact Rock has full access
remotely to your computer and thus can see everything you do - they all
seemed like reasonable questions.

Not only that - but the last two links give gave you excellent leads to
research given as much information as you had at that time.

I never hurts to give as much information as you can when asking a question
about something no one else can see other than you - so it is left up to you
to describe it.
