Okay, here goes...

In my form, I have two related fields. The first one is a combo box that I
type my first piece of data into (item number), and then the text box below
references the combo box and automatically fills in the corresponding data
(item name). The source for this information is a query. The item name does
not appear in my table.

When I try to run a report or a query, the item name does not show up there
either. How can I make the item name appear in my reports or queries? I was
told that I could make the item name show up on a report by using a query,
but I’m not sure how.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you.

hi,
that can be done by add the table that the item name is in
to the query, linking Item number = item number then
draging the item name into the query grid.
do the same with your reports.

Thank you for your post. I've linked the item number fields, but I'm not
sure what you mean when you say to drag the item name into the query grid.
