RIS and dynamic update

The Windows XP Dynamic Update package only works if you are
running an upgrade that is initiated by Winnt32.exe. It does not work
with Winnt.exe, booting off of the CD-ROM, booting off of the floppy
disks, RIS installations, and Winnt32.exe installations that are started
from within WINPE.

Do I have any other choise to do a driver update pre or post a RIS
installation. I really dont like the option where you have to define OEM
drivers in the ristndrd.sif file. Thats why i was looking for Windows Update
in the first place.
 
Make sure you are using a Windows XP CD with SP2 integrated.
SP2 includes additional driver support.

Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming
(integrating) SP2 into Windows XP a breeze:
