Right Clicking on the Start Menu

I can no longer right-click on either my start menu or
programa menu, and cant work out why. I now have lots of
programes left on my menus that I uninstalled ages ago,
yet I cant delete them off the list. This problem also
prohibits me from right-clicking say, 'My Music' and
using the 'Play All' functions etc. Please help if you
can, very annoying problem!!

Control Panel (classic view)> Taskbar and Start Menu> Start Menu>
Customize. On Advanced page, check the box to "Enable dragging and
dropping." Besides effecting drag&drop, this setting also enables and
disables the right click menu for the taskbar and start menu.
