Right Click -> Send to -> Mail Recipient as Attachment

When trying to perform the operation of sending a file directly as an
attachment through mail, instead of starting my system's default mail client,
windows runs the Microsoft Exchange Setup Wizard. (Particularly odd since my
default mail client is not a MS product).

This feature works correctly on 98% of machines around me, but mine and one
other have the issue as mentioned above.

Suggestions are, as always, greatly appreciated.

Try this first. Click Start, Run. In the Run box type "regsvr32 shimgvw.dll" without the quotes
and press enter. Restart Windows.

If that fails to fix it, it may be that the "SENDMAIL.DLL" is damaged. It

Hi Unk,

The only un-signed windows dlls detected were printer drivers (I use the
ones from the manufacturer for additional functionality).

sfc didn't detect anything out of the ordinary...

Click the "Clear" button once, in that utility.

Under topic:

It works!
 
Damn, so close yet so far.

It worked for my machine, but someone else is still having the issue (theirs
was trying to use the Corel Word Perfect - I know, ew - mail interface). At
this stage of the game, I'm wondering if it's just easier to reinstall
Windows since I know it works when fresh...

Repeat the step in the other user account.
