right click crash

i have xp sp2 home ed. The prob i have has only just
started. when I right click on desktop, all is well, the
menu appears as it should, BUT, when I right click on an
item ,ie - Picture, desktop icon, ANYTHING, then the
computer crashes. It starts DR watson, which runs in the
background for about 30 secs,(observed thro task mgr)
then closes explorer and restarts it again WITHOUT
completing the right click and giving me NO menu.
I've had sp2 for about 2 weeks, all has been well until
now. I have installed no new software at all and have
been using it as normal.
How can I restore my right click menu?

ps dr watson does not produce a log!

Hi

If you have DivX installed, uninstall it and see if it helps...
