I saw a post here back in January that pointed to a link that is no
longer valid for this program. Does anyone know where this program can
be downloaded? Is it still freeware?

Thanks in advance!

I did a little checking - without success. This looks like a job for our
*expert* searchers. FWIW -- these are the most recent URLs I have:

http://www.49mb.com/users/pisoft/MasterYourWindows8.0setup.zip *DEAD
(I don't know the file size.) ( http://www.49mb.com/ *DEAD )

Susan and bigjon, thanks for the help. I'm afraid that just solidifies my
thoughts that this program has really disappeared (at least the 8.0
version.)

For those who want to know what its is about:
the 49mb.com site is in Google's cache: http://tinyurl.com/p8gr4

" MasterYourWindows 8.0

is a System-Check-Tool, continuously checking auto-run-entries,
BHO's, etc. You can deactivate or delete the entries, this way
you can detect or get rid of viruses, trojans, hi-jackers ...

is an Auto-Size-Windows-Tool, no more annoying small windows
forgetting their maximized status. You can open the selected
applications (for instance explorer, notepad ...) in maximized
mode or other sizes,

is an Auto-Close-Windows-Tool, a useful addition to any Browser and
Blocker, because now you can auto-close all windows, for instance
annoying Dialogwindows, Appletwindows, Systemwindows ...

is an Open/Save-Dialog-Box-Manager, no more annoying small list mode
Open/Save-Dialog-Boxes, You can set default window-sizes and
Details-View. "

At the time that I downloaded this 8.0 version the zip file was OK,
containing only the setup.exe, But the install didn't work. So I keep
using version 7.0, have it always running in the background, nice tool.
I hope that eventually a working version 8.0 can be downloaded.
B.t.w. I see no difference in functionality as mentioned above.

For those that want to try out version 7.0, I uploaded to:

Hey, taking care of my OCD is no laughing matter! ;-) But definitely
thanks for your assistance.

I was able to get the functionality I needed with the last freeware
version of Handy Thing. Does just what I wanted without doing anything
more.
