Does anyone know of a way to change the way Outlook displays a chain of
e-mails? It's very irritating to have the newest reply at the top of the
'page' and have to scroll down to the bottom to see the beginning. I would
like to see it in reading order - top to bottom with the latest at the
bottom. I am using WindowsXP

but what version of Outlook? In my copy of 2003, view by conversation has
the oldest mail at the top.

Outlook encourages top-posting in replies. If you restrict yourself to
using Plain Text, then Outlook-Quotefix (google for it) can help.
Otherwise, cut and paste is your friend.
