The situation is this. I was told to update a computer
from Windows 2000 to Windows XP. Normally I would let the
machine boot up and then insert the Windows XP CD for the
update install. I was instructed by a boss to go this
route and now things are just awry.
I was told to boot to the CD and then run the setup. I
did not create a new partition, and trusted the
information I was given due to my position at the firm.
This caused the machine to become a dual boot. ugh.
That boss reinstalled the Ghost image that was made before
the XP install, in hopes I think to have it return to
normal. It didnt and it wont boot up. Now I am in a
mess, due to the guy will be back tomorrow for his machine
and this has been tumped into my lap.
Help? How can I fix this issue? Where do I start?
