Revealing the full names of attachments

When you click on the yello clip located on the upper right hand
corner of the preview pane, a drop-down list pops up with the full
names of the attachments.
At this point, there is nothing you can do with this drop-down list
other than opening an attachment.

Print, save, remove and copy can be done once you open the mail in a
separate window.
However, the names of the attached file are not fully displayed,
making it hard to decide which one is which.
Is there any solution to this problem that i think is a result of MS's
inattention to the details?

yea, thats a pain, but if you have the preview pane on you can then click on
the paperclip and see the whole attachment name. Its the only way that I
know.

Maybe slipstick.com has a COM plug-in?

Nope, DJ Kim is talking about Outlook Express here not Outlook.

I believe you are talking about Outlook Express here (Help-> About)

If so; Ask in an Outlook Express forum. This is an Microsoft Office Outlook
forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Here is the link for the right forum

No, I was talking about Outlook.
I use Outlook to receive my mails.
Outlook, too, has a preview pane.
Marx correctly pointed out my problem below.
Is there a plug-in com for that?

Oops, indeed; Outlook 2000. Got really used to the way Outlook 2002 and 2003
display it now (as a rule directly under the subject line).
Don't know about a plug-in for it.
