Returning to Inbox after deleting

I have Win98se and IE & OE6. On outlook I do NOT show the
priview pane. However, if you are reading your e-mail and
you DEKETE the one your are reading, Outlook automatically
opens the next one instead of returning to the inbox. The
next one was the virus letter from Microsoft (did not open
the attachment) and now I get 25-40 e-mails daily from
Microsoft(I know it isn't them) now that my e-mail address
was verified by opening the e-mail.
Is there a setting that I can set to go back to the Inbox
after deleting a read e-mail and NOT opening the next one?

Are you talking about Outlook or Outlook EXPRESS? The two are completely
different programs, even though their names are similar.
