Retrieving Overwritten Excel File

I accidentally overwrote a file after I had entered new partial data in to
it. Is there a way to retrieve the original file without the overwrites?

If you're on a network and the file was located on a network drive you can
request a file restore from your netword admin.

Otherwise, without a back up there isn't anything that you can do.
