If the document is password protected against opening, then the document is
encrypted and cannot be opened without the password. There are password
crackers available (which are not as effective as the hype - especially if
the password is long or complex) but you must use them at your own risk.
Handing your credit card details to someone who cracks passwords for a
living is not without its own dangers
