Retrieve achived .pst file

Outlook 2002.

I have an archived file called archive.pst. The size is 70KB.

When I go to File, Open, Outlook Data File, all that appears if an Archive Folders with a Deleted Items folder. The Deleted Items
folder has one file in it called archive1.pst. I cannot open this file.

I tried importing it into a newly created folder, but same results.

I then tried importing that newly created folder into Outlook Express. I opened the file (which is actually a message with an
attachment). The attachment is called archive.pst. I saved this file and then opened it in Outlook and it is empty.

Am I out of luck?

70Kb is the size of a small text file. If that is REALLY the size of
your archived pst then there is almost nothing in it anyway
