Retrieval of "THotkey" failed error?!?

I am running XP Pro on a Toshiba laptop and suddenly this
weekend I began to receive the following erroron boot up:

TouchED Error
Retrieval of "THotkey" failed.
Error Code - 0x00031402, 0x00000002

What is it, what piece of hardware or sdoftware may be
causing this?

Someone must know what this is!
