I had gone back and fourth via e-mail with microsoft a
while back on an issue I was having with my computer, and
now a friend is having the same issue. the support person
said that the case was being archived. I am trying to
find the case again to help my friend. Can anyone tell me
how to go about this? I cannot find a way to find past
incidents via my passport login. If it is there it would
either have the e-mail address (e-mail address removed) or
(e-mail address removed) attached as the contact info. The main
reason I need the link is for the instructions contained
in it and a link to download MSConfig.

Thanks for your help.

You'll probably need to make a call to find out. Or try post the details of
the problem.

The details:

The computer would hang when windows loaded. After going
into safe mode and event log, I found the error, but didnt
know what it meant.

I was told to download msconfig from the support site,
then to disable certain things in there. If it booted, re
enable one by one and reboot after enabling each one.
Problem is, I dont have a link to the download for
msconfig, and I dont have an older system to get it off
of. and I dont remember what I was told to disable...

Thanks for your help.
