Retreiving a list of my Audio CD's without downloading them to computer

Computer: Windows XP - Home Ed.
Program: Windows Media Player 9.0

Desired Task: Catologue my personal cd library to include
(Artist/Group, Album, and, if possible, would like
playlist and genre)

When I am on-line and insert one of my cd's, magically,
the artist/group's name, album title and playlist appear.
Thereafter, even when off-line, anytime I insert a
particular cd the above information is recalled. Which
means to me it is stored somewhere on my computer.

How do I access the saved information to get a printout
listing my cd's?????

Both RealPlayer 10.5 and iTunes 4.6 will create printouts.
