retreival of hotkey failed

Hi I am using xp home and recently when booting up I get an error that, " The
retreival of hotkey failed 0x00031402, 0x00000002. I am lost in space...

I just figured it out. It was the touchpad on the laptop had a problem. I
deleted the software/driver and reinstalled now no problem. Thanks anyway.
sometimes google works as fast as my mouth.

ps the actual error was retreival of thotkey failed.
