Retieving deleted files help???

I had created a special folder called "e-mails to keep" under my "deleted Items" section, as to not accidentally delete files that I really wanted to keep. Today when I clicked on that folder, to bring up the list of the items I had in there, all of a sudden the whole folder was gone, with all the files in it. I never clicked on a delete key or answered any questions that would normally come up when deleting a file. So is that folder still out there some where with all my files in it, so I can retrieve it, or did I just loose the whole folder some how. I pray it is some where!!!! Please Help!!!!!
 
Do you connect to an Exchange Server? If so, your admin may be able to
restore it. It is possible to schedule emptying of Deleted items from the
server.

As a side note, Deleted Items is for deleted items. If you want to keep
messages, make a sub-folder off one of your other mail folders, such as your
Inbox.
