I am trying to copy digital audio files from my digital recorder to CD for
future use. The files on the recorder all show their original creation date.
However, when I copy to CD, all dates are changed to when I copy to CD.
Does anyone know how I can retain the original created dates and copy to CD?
Thanks

Hi,

You can't retain the original date unless you use a third party burning
utility that has that option (Nero is one). There is no way to do it with
the native burning engine.

I keep thinking that if the documentation were available it would
be possible to write a little right-click script that would make
far better use of the CD burning feature. But thus far I haven't
found anything to help with this. It is out there somewhere, buried.
