My Windows XP won't start; instead, I get a file that says the HAL.dll file
is missing or corrupted and to replace or repair it. I finally figured out
the file is still there, and I've got my XP installation disc in a CD drive.
But I haven't been able to figure out just how to copy the HAL.dll file on
the disc to the hard drive. Can someone tell me, or point me to a site
that will give the instructions? Thanks.
