I had installed Mozilla Thunderbird as the mail reader. For a number of
reasons I decided that it was not the way we wanted to go so I deleted it.

Now the Icon for Email at the top left of the Start menu has no application
associated with it. Clicking on it takes me to the Internet Properties
panel. On the Internet Properties I have gone to the Programs tab and
selected OE for both mail and news. I selected apply and OK and restarted,
but OE still does not come up at the Email icon.

OE comes up OK if I just click on its own icon. How do I get it restored to
that original place?

Right click the disabled shortcut on the Start menu and select Delete to get
rid of it. Next, right click the Stsrat Button and select
Properties/Customize Tab. In the Show on start menu section, click the Email
option and select Outlook Express from the drop down menu.
