Can you or someone help me, I attempted to move files
arond in Front page so when I publish it to the server
things will all work. Somehow, the stupid program deleted
important images, and some html files which I need. I can
not find them on the client, my machine where they had
been!

Is there anyway to restore them back or does FP just
delete them forever and I am in trouble?

DM.

When you delete files in FP, which your are prompted before they are
deleted, and if you reply yes, then they are gone forever.

If you delete files in one location and then publish to another, FP will
prompt you for permission to delete them on the destination site as well.

Hi Thomas-

Actually, I had the files in a different folder inside
the FP web folder, I was moving them to the root, and it
accidently deleted the files without asking me or
prompting me.

Why did this happen? What can I do to recover those files?

You where working within FP doing this correct?

Never had that happen, but there is no way to recover them, since they are
not stored in the recycle bin.

You must have imported those files from somewhere before using them in FP.
For the html files you might try looking in your temp files.

Moral: Always have a backup of your web, and always have your images also
stored somewhere else.
