Some time ago, i accidentally deleted my Microsoft Works
file.....is there any way to restore them without doing
a "System Restore"? I don't remember when the file(s)
were deleted and really don't want to do system restore
and lose everything i've got installed and saved on my
system.

If you deleted one file, you probably deleted more!

You can bite the bullet and buy the latest version of Microsoft Works, or
you can use your system restore disks from the computer manufacturer.

You don't want to lose everything on your computer?? That's why they
invented the "back up" concept. Get some CD's and start copying what you
need to save.

Purchase and install Works Suite 2004.
System Restore only restores Windows XP
system files, not programs you may have
uninstalled or deleted.
